Formed in 2020 at the behest of the artist Philippe Grosclaude, the Fondation Atelier Philippe Grosclaude is wholly dedicated to the arts and culture. Its mission is to support contemporary art, regardless of the discipline or medium, in particular by organizing events that are open to one and all.
Putting artists and the public first, the Foundation hopes to offer them a space where they can share ideas and interact. It aims to contribute to society through its active commitment to culture and its diversity, along with support for its diffusion; and to playing a role in forming the imagination. The Foundation is proud to embrace humanist values.

The Fondation Atelier Philippe Grosclaude is a state-approved not-for-profit foundation.
Because the privately owned building that is home to the Fondation Philippe Grosclaude lacks an elevator, the foundation is unfortunately inaccessible to persons with reduced mobility or who use a wheelchair. We regret the situation and beg your understanding.

The Fondation Atelier Philippe Grosclaude intends to develop its events program (new pieces, lectures, roundtable discussions, etc.) based on a general theme. The projects the Foundation is intent on pursuing will echo one another from time to time. They will also expand on the chosen theme in the hopes of making a lasting contribution to thinking about the specificity of artistic output. Over the course of the next few years, the Foundation will emphasize both a cross-disciplinary approach and diversity among its invited artists while devoting itself to the different aspects of the studio. These will include the processes of artmaking, corporal and mental spaces, the material, physical, or even temporal circumstances that play out before the act of making art, the birth of ideas, the characteristics of the worksite and the ways it is used, and stationary journeys.
